Fifth Harmony, the girl band who met as contestants on The X Factor in 2012 and formed a group under the direction of Simon Cowell announced that they are going on ‘hiatus‘. Ever since Camila announced she was going solo in late 2016, there have been rumors that the band’s days were numbered. And it turns out the rumors were true as the girl group announced Monday on Twitter that Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui will pursue “solo endeavors“. The group says the break will allow them “to gain new experiences, strengths and perspectives that we can bring back to our Fifth Harmony family. They continued by thanking their fans. “With your love and encouragement we will continue to build on ourselves, support one another in everything we do, and keep making you proud.”
Their Tweet expresses everything as clear as crystal, check it out below:

Fifth Harmony’s indefinite hiatus will not be immediate. The group said they will honor the shows they have remaining through the end of 2018. Lets just hope that they come back on the track soon.
